Mission Statement
Japan Arts and Culture Foundation is dedicated to foster free and diverse activities of arts and culture and to generate the creative and rich local and global community by the power of the creativity.

  • Programs on the development of contemporary arts, nurturing artists, international cultural exchange, generating cultural hub and education of arts and culture
  • Generating site for international cultural dialogue, exchanges and collaboration based on cultural diversity
  • Leadership program for next generation
  • Research, planning and proposal for cultural policy and strategy for the development of local community Activity of the foundation will be in Japan and internationally.

  • 2015.6.20 JACF sponsored screening of “Trace the Future “ at Rikuzentakata Comunity Hall. It is the artist Naoya Hatakeyama’s home town.
  • 2015.3.31 “Program Report Cultural Exchenge Program between Japan and UAE - Writers Exchange Program 2015” was published.
  • 2015.3.17 ~ Al Hanouf Mohmmad, Muhsin Suliman and Talal Salim Al Sabiri from UAE, who are the writers for 2014 Writers Exchange Program, UAE-Japan Cultural Exchange Program, stayed in Tokyo and visited to Kyoto, Nara and Kamakura for researching Japanese traditional culture.
  • 2015.1.18 ~ 2.15 Yumi Fuzuki, Mokako Nakajima, Kenkichi Tsurukawa and Kika Hotta from Japan, who are the writers for 2014 Writers Exchange Program, UAE-Japan Cultural Exchange Program, stayed and researched in UAE for a month.
  • 2014.12.1 Nomination of writers for 2014 Writers Exchange Program, UAE-Japan Cultural Exchange Program
  • 2014.9.29 Signing Ceremony for UAE-Japan Cultural Exchange Program
  • 'Writers Exchange’ program launched between UAE and Japan
